AdSense serves context-sensitive from Google Servers that appear in web pages within your website. Ads are matched to the content in each web page, so in theory, the ads are more likely to be clicked on by your visitors. You make money based on the number of clicks and impressions your site generates for Google.
InetDaemon.Com receives generates than 4 million page views per year. We don’t receive enough donations to keep the site running. I sell no products or services, so that leaves advertising as the only way for this site to pay for itself. I thought that perhaps with the number of page views I get (about 4 million per year), I should be able to make some money with AdSense.
In my next post, I will explain how the Google AdSense ads work.
